…hope you brought wine!

Welcome to my little online shop and corner of the California central coast wine region! 

I hope you brought wine! Because here you will not find any alcohol for sale (I will leave the winemaking to the experts) ~ but you will find my one of a kind creations using left over open wine bottles and the interesting corks used to seal and preserve them prior to being enjoyed.

I decided to create home décor and gift items from these beautiful pieces after moving to Paso Robles and living amongst some of the most amazing oak trees and vineyards in the world.  At last count, there are over 400 local wineries in this region, home to some of the finest Zin’s and Rhone’s to be found on this continent. 

For me, each bottle and cork tells a possible story of a celebration, a special toast, a first date, or simply a bottle shared amongst friends and family.  The bottles are all shapes and colors, with creative labels or markings.  Many of the corks have the vintner’s name; and the most special ones (in my opinion) have the beautiful red stain on one end.  I enjoy repurposing corks from wines found all over the world, but I personally find the local wineries in my own backyard to be the most beautiful. 

And in case you’re wondering, no…I have not drank each bottle to acquire these corks!  The local tasting rooms have been most kind in sharing them with me after their tasting events, in order to keep them out of the landfill.

You also may spot some of my pieces specifically made for some of the cellars along the Central Coast Wine Region for display in their tasting rooms.  And if you have not yet visited this region for wine tasting, please consider doing so!  You won’t be disappointed.

I will update this website with any new pieces for sale, and a listing of the local shows or craft fairs that I will be participating at, in hopes you will stop by and say hello.  I customize other wine related items for the shows, like trivets, coasters, aprons, dish towels and wine glass charms.
